Elder Law of East Tennessee’s Bailey Schiermeyer Selected as American Bar Association’s Top 40 Young Lawyers Honoree (National Award)
July 8, 2019, (Knoxville, Tennessee) – On June 28, 2019 The American Bar Association named its Top 40 Young Lawyers of 2019, recognizing young lawyer members who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership, and legal and community service. Attorney Bailey Schiermeyer of Elder Law of East Tennessee has been selected as a 2019 honoree.
When asked about the significance of the award Schiermeyer said, “I am excited to receive this award and to be included among a group of such accomplished attorneys. My work is important to me because the families that I represent are important to me, and it’s great to be recognized for the care and effort I put into representing elders and their families in East Tennessee.” Schiermeyer earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Regent University School of Law in 2014. She is an active member of the Tennessee Bar Association Elder Law Section, the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association, and the Knoxville Bar Association. Bailey is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is the President of the Tennessee State Chapter.
